Don’t worry—our material on Planet Handpan is designed to work with any key or design of handpan. All exercises, grooves, and songs are pattern-based rather than pitch-specific. Even if your handpan is in a different key, you can still play along with all the material using the transpose function in the Groove Engine.

Nope! All courses on Planet Handpan use Louis Notation, a simplified handpan tablature system that's easy to follow. While a background in music literacy can be helpful, every exercise is taught by rote and broken down into manageable pieces, making it simple to follow along even if you're new to music notation.
